Major Blood Sugar Drop!

     If you keep up with me on Myproana, you know I have Type 1 Diabetes, as well as an eating disorder. Well today both of them got the worst of me. I was feeling fine up until about 1 o'clock today when I started to get extremely tired. Normally my blood sugar is always quite high, especially when I'm feeling extra tired. I brushed it off as a high BG. Did ya girl bother to test? NOPE.

     fast forward 1 hour and I'm almost passing out! I finally did check it and it was 48!!!!!! I knew this would be coming though. I can usually expect my sugar to drop after beginning restriction for a couple days.

This is what I had to eat:

  • chicken nuggets (600)
  • cheese (80)
  • cookies (200)
  • juice (200)
  • pastry (200)
Yes, this is still under my calorie limit, its about 1300 calories plus all the coffee I had this morning puts it at about 14-1500 calories so I need to stop eating for the rest of the day pretty much.

     The thing is, even if I don't go above the calorie limit for the day, it still bothers me when I eat foods that were not really on my plan to eat for that day. I'm a serious planner guys. I'm an INFJ .... I really enjoy structure to everything. It seems the only thing I don't seem to plan and keep control of is my blood sugar/diabetes... oh well.
